Ten months after its improvement, the Local Level Restructuring Commission has finally displayed its response to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The LLRC endorses 719 adjacent units in the administration set-up.
In its 1,700-page report, the commission has reconstructed the area bodies into four metropolitan urban groups, 12 sub-metropolitan urban groups, 241 city and 462 town sheets. PM Dahal, who had been reluctant to get the report, recognized it on Friday taking after steady weight from the commission that completed its work in the third week of December.
As showed by the report, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Chitwan and Pokhara will be the urban communities. At present, Kathmandu is the country's sole city. Lalitpur and Pokhara are the present sub-urban areas while Bharatpur is a locale. The commission has combined Pokhara and Lekhnath to shape a city and Bharatpur and Ratnanagar have been united to make the Chitwan city.
