Head of Army Staff (CoAS) of Nepal Army (NA) General Rajendra Chettri is returning home on Sunday finishing his six-day Lebanon visit. General Chettri had left for Lebanon on June 21.
Amid his stary, Chettri met Nepali officers of Gorakahdal Battalion, who are right now activated in peacekeeping in various parts of Lebanon, and tended to them.
He additionally met acting Lebanese President and Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Defense Minister Samir Moukbel nufot, Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Kahwaji, UNIFIL Head of Mission/Force Commander Major General Luciano Portolano (Italy),/Sector East Commander Brigadier General Alfredo Perez De Aguado Martinez (Spain).
Amid the visit, they talked about subjects and NA's peacekeeping part in Lebanon. NA expects that such visit will support its picture at worldwide level and connection among Nepal, UN and concerned nations.
